DECORNEW DECOSTAMPED is a cement mortar overlay, ready to use; it is a compound of selected sands, Portland cement, inorganic oxides (UV rays-resistant) and specific additives to improve our surface’s workability, impermeability, adhesion and time resistance.
DECOSTAMPED can be used as a primer, directly on terracotta walls, concrete blocks and reinforced concrete, with a variable average thickness of 10/20 mm (according to the final use). This type of mortar enables us to create the look of natural stones or finishing touches of rustic coatings. Rubber stencils are used to get these results; DECOCOLOR coloured wax is used to give particular coloured gradations.
DECORNEW DECOSTAMPED overlay is a cement mortar, ready to use; it is appropriate for interior or exterior application to create the look of natural stones and rocks, thanks to its variable minimum thickness of 10/20 mm.
This type of plaster has a low coefficient of capillarity; as a consequence, it both represents a barrier for rainwater and helps steam to go out.
It is resistant to the micromovements of the base, having a medium elastic modulus (thanks to compound additives).
In case of accidental damages, restoration works are easy.
Once mixed with water, you go on with the laying of the product, with the fixed thickness. Then, the surface is stamped with particular stencils, supplied by DECORNEW.
Within 24 hours, according to outside temperature, possible flaws are corrected, with proper technical tools. The final colouring is given by hand with sponge or brush, using DECORNEW DECOCOLOR, a professional colouring wax.
